Nuke-Free Jam: A Great Success

    Nuke-Free Jam
    Thursday, October 2, 2008
    Temple University
    Howard Gittis Student Center, Underground
    8-11pm
    $5

Following the huge success of our April 2008 concert, we held another concert at Temple University on Thursday, October 2, from 8-11pm. Our opening band, The Once Was (formerly Just Like Me) was a group including Temple students whose mix of rock, soul, and experimental sounds have inspired a loyal following. And our headliner, Philadelphia Slick, brought a hip-hop ensemble that got us all dancing.

This event was part of the PNA Youth Leadership Network, which aims to educate and empower college students and young adults, ages 18-30, to support public awareness of, and action on, nuclear weapons policy.
